The document establishes technical details on proposals to amend the 2017 Notice under the Food Act 2014 that lists the maximum residue levels (MRLs) for agricultural compounds in New Zealand. Among others, the draft proposes the following new MRLs:
 

  • Fluopyram: 0.7 mg/kg in stone fruit.
  • Fluxapyroxad: 0.01(*) mg/kg in stone fruit.
  • Trifloxystrobin: 0.03 mg/kg in stone fruit.

 
(*) indicates that the maximum residue level has been set at or about the limit of analytical quantification.
 
The deadline for comments is January 29, 2018.
