Chile: Pistachios from California

The Agriculture and Livestock Service of Chile notified the World Trade Organization of the phytosanitary requirements for the importation of pistachio trees (Pistacia vera) from California.

Among other requirements, shipments must include an official phytosanitary certificate issued by the Animal and Plant Health Inspection Service (APHIS) of the U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA), declaring that the shipment has been treated against insects and mites (name of the substance, treatment, dose…).

The deadline for comments is January 29, 2021.
