The INC is pleased to announce the publication of the 2016/2017 Statistical Yearbook, a comprehensive collection of worldwide production, trade and consumption statistics for nuts and dried fruits from 2006/07 to 2016/17. This publication offers both a general overview of the world production, trade and consumption of tree nuts, peanuts and dried fruits, as well as a review for each nut and dried fruit in 15 chapters. Each chapter features main producing, exporting, importing and consuming countries, as well as averages and trends of the last decade.

World consumption of tree nuts, peanuts and dried fruits has been growing at a sustained pace throughout the last decade. Data show a 28% increase in consumption of tree nuts, 17% increase in peanuts, and 13% in dried fruits over the previous 10 years average, which once again confirms that nuts and dried fruits are a growing trend.
