The Organizing Committee for Chennai 2017 hold a meeting in Kollam (Kerala) to present the INC and promote the XXXVI World Nut and Dried fruit Congress in Chennai. The meeting was attended by over 100 cashew processors and traders, including representatives of the main cashew organizations: CEPCI (Cashew Export Promotion Council of India) and FIEO (Federation of Indian Export Organizations).The meeting was celebrated last October. Mr. Pratap Nair, Congress Chairman, opened and conducted the session, which included presentations from the INC delegation: Mr. Mark Mariani, INC Chairman; Mr. Giles Hacking, INC past Chairman and Ms. Goretti Guasch, INC Executive Director. Other presenters included Mr. Sundaran, CEPCI Chairman; Mr Walter Dzousa, past CEPCI and FIEO southern region Chairman; and Mr. Hari Nair, past CEPCI Chairman.
