The MRLs on the new draft differs from those established in the draft launched for public consultation at the beginning of 2019 (see previous post).
 
As for nuts and dried fruits, the new draft Regulation sets the MRL of chlorate in tree nuts at 0.1 ppm; apricots, plums, grapes, cranberries and peanuts at 0.05 ppm; and dates and figs at 0.3 ppm. These MRLs shall be reviewed no later than five years after their publication.
