The INC Executive Committee in Brussels

In September and October, the INC Executive Committee visited Brussels for a series of meetings with the European Commission, namely the Directorate General for Trade (DG TRADE), Directorate General for Health and Food Safety (DG SANTE) and Directorate General for Agriculture and Rural Development (DG AGRI).

The INC Executive Committee met in Brussels, Belgium, on October 8, 2019, to review the Foundation’s financial status and ongoing projects, including the projects of marketing and communication, activities concerning scientific and legal aspects, and the statistics and megatrends on the industry.

EU: Chlorpyrifos Withdrawal

The European Commission notified the World Trade Organization of the Draft Commission Implementing Regulation concerning the non-renewal of the approval of the active substance chlorpyrifos, in accordance with Regulation (EC) No 1107/2009 of the European Parliament and of the Council concerning the placing of plant protection products on the market, and amending the Annex to Commission Implementing Regulation (EU) No 540/2011.
