EU: Transportation and Border Control

The Commission is asking for feedback on the draft Regulation about supplementing Regulation (EU) 2017/625 of the European Parliament and of the Council as regards rules for official controls of consignments of animals and goods in transit, transhipment and onward transportation, amending Regulations (EC) No 798/2008, (EC) No 1251/2008, (EC) No 119/2009, (EU) No 206/2010, (EU) No 605/2010, (EU) No 142/2011, (EU) No 28/2012, (EU) 2016/759 and Decision 2007/777/EC, and repealing Decisions 2000/208/EC, 2000/571/EC and 2011/215/EU.

The Brazilian Health Regulatory Agency has notified the World Trade Organization of some draft resolutions regarding the active ingredients G05 – glufosinate and G01 – glyphosate of the Monograph List of Active Ingredients for Pesticides, Household Cleaning Products and Wood Preservers, published by Resolution RE n° 165 of 29 August 2003, on the Brazilian Official Gazette (DOU Diário Oficial da União) of 2 September 2003.
