International borders are gradually reopening as lockdown and curfew measures have been globally de-escalating. Furthermore, some countries nearly eliminated restrictions, despite certain new waves of infections in China, New Zealand and Germany.

The INC is pleased to announce the publication of the 2019/2020 Annual Report. The report provides an overview of the past year including information on the INC activities, health and dissemination, marketing and communication plans including the dissemination campaign, and technical projects. 

INC attended the virtual meeting of the Market Access Working Group on Sanitary and Phytosanitary issues (SPS MAWG) organized by the European Commission (EC), on May 26, 2020.

On May 26, the INC participated in the first virtual meeting of Working Group on Sustainability of the European Federation of the Trade in Dried Fruit & Edible Nuts, Processed Fruit & Vegetables, Processed Fishery products, Spices, Honey (FRUCOM). 

From June 1 – June 12, 2020, the INC hosted the first-ever INC Webinar Series. This series virtually brought together experts from around the world to discuss trends, crop forecasts, and the state of the industry for each product under the INC umbrella.
