UN Symposium, Nuts and Dried Fruit for a Sustainable Future
On June 26, 2018, INC participated in the Symposium “Nuts and Dried Fruit for a Sustainable Future” organized by the United Nations Economic Commission for Europe (UNECE) in Geneva, Switzerland. The event brought together experts form the public and private sectors, international organizations, and NGOs with the aim of discussing and reviewing different sustainable practices in the production and trade of nuts and dried fruits worldwide.

INC participated in the 65th Session of the United Nations Economic Commission for Europe (UNECE) Specialized Section on Standardization of Dry and Dried Produce, held in Genera, Switzerland, June 25-27, 2018, represented by Mr. Pino Calcagni, Vice Chairman and Chairman of the Scientific and Government Affairs Committee, and Dr. Ana Bermejo, Food Safety and Law Specialist.
INC at New York’s Summer Fancy Food Show
INC exhibited for the second time at New York's Summer Fancy Food Show held on June 30 – July 2, 2018. SFFS is the largest specialty food trade event in North America and the leading showcase of industry innovation. It brought together specialty food's top manufacturers, buyers and thought leaders. INC participated with an individual 200 sq ft booth (18 sq m).

2018 Annual Call for Promotion and Dissemination Projects
On November 6, 2017, INC announced the 2018 Call for Promotion and Dissemination Projects with due date for submission January 31, 2018. The objective of this grant was to fund projects aimed at increasing the use and consumption of nuts and dried fruits, whenever such projects are beyond the scope of the INC.
