On January 31, 2020, the U.S. Food and Drug Administration approved the first treatment for peanut allergy, named Palforzia.

The National Agrarian Health Service of Peru (SENASA) notified the World Trade Organization of the Directorial Resolution establishing the mandatory phytosanitary requirements governing the importation into Peru of macadamia plants (Macadamia integrifolia and Macadamia integrifolia x Macadamia tetraphylla) originating in and coming from Australia.

The National Food Safety Agency of the Republic of Moldova notified the World Trade Organization of the Law Nr. 306 on food safety.

The Japan’s Ministry of Health, Labor and Welfare notified the World Trade Organization of the Revision of the Standards and Specifications for Foods and Food Additives under the Food Sanitation Act (revision of agricultural chemical residue standards).

The European Food Safety Authority (EFSA) has published the Reasoned Opinion on the Review of the existing maximum residue levels for cycloxydim, acequinocyl, fluxapyroxad and abamectin.
