On May 25, 2020, the European Commission published the Commission Regulation (EU) 2020/685 of 20 May 2020, amending Regulation (EC) No 1881/2006 as regards maximum levels of perchlorate in certain foods.
As previously posted, the ML for perchlorate in fruits and vegetables is set at 0.05 mg/kg, except in cucurbitaceae and kale at 0.10 mg/kg, and leaf vegetables and herbs at 0.50 mg/kg. Nuts are excluded.
