As for nuts and dried fruits, the Draft Regulation sets the following MRLs:
 
  • The MRL for chlorpyrifos is lowered from 0.05 ppm to 0.01* ppm in almonds, pecans and walnuts; from 0.3 ppm to 0.01* ppm in plums; and from 1 ppm to 0.01* ppm in cranberries.
  • The MRL for chlorpyrifos-methyl is lowered from 0.5 ppm to 0.01* ppm in apricots and plums; from 1 ppm to 0.01* ppm in grapes; and from 0.05 ppm to 0.01* ppm in peanuts.

The final date for comments is February 10, 2020. The proposed date of adoption is June, 2020. It is expected that enter into force in October 2020.
