The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency has received several initial filings of pesticide petitions requesting the establishment or modification of regulations for residues of pesticide chemicals in or on various commodities.
As regards nuts and dried fruits, the Agency received the following petitions (amended tolerances for non-inerts):
Establish tolerances for residues of the insecticide metaflumizone in or on grape, raisin at 10 ppm.
Establish a tolerance for residues of the herbicide tiafenacil, including its metabolites and degradates, in or on grape, raisin at 0.01 ppm.
The final date for comments is September 30, 2019.
