Draft Amendments to Israel’s Copper MRLs

Israel has notified the World Trade Organization (WTO) of amendments to its pesticide-residue rules. Israel is updating its maximum residue level (MRL) framework to incorporate changes made to the EU’s Regulation (EC) 396/2005. The notification covers all trading partners. For this particular revision, the important underlying EU measure is Commission Regulation (EU) 2026/840, concerning copper compounds, which sets, among others, the following MRLs:

The proposed date of entry into force is November 1, 2026, and the final date for comments is October 20, 2026.
