Researchers from the Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health conducted the study “Nut Consumption in Relation to Cardiovascular Disease Incidence and Mortality among Patients with Diabetes Mellitus” that was recently published in the journal Circulation Research.
Canada: MRLs Update

Canada’s Pest Management Regulatory Agency has announced the adoption of the MRL for tetrachlorvinphos and the revocation of diazinon, dicofol, dinocap, nicotine, phosalone and vinclozolin on corresponding commodities identified. Australia-Indonesia: Comprehensive Economic Partnership Agreement

On March 4, 2019, Australia and Indonesia signed a Comprehensive Economic Partnership Agreement that eliminates bilateral tariffs on tree nuts (Brazil nuts, cashews, almonds, hazelnuts, walnuts, pistachios, macadamias), dates, apricots, figs, peanuts and peanut butter, among many other products.
