INC at the 9th Golden Cashew Rendezvous
The INC participated in the 9th Golden Cashew Rendezvous, represented by Mr. Michael Waring, INC Vice Chairman, on November 13-15, 2017, in Phu Quoc Island, Vietnam. This is the annual meeting of the Vietnamese Cashew Association (VINACAS) and gathers about 500 participants from 40 countries to meet, review and discuss about the state of the cashew industry.

The 2017 International Seedless Dried Grape Producing Countries Conference was held in Monterey, California during October 22-25. Chaired by Mr. Dappie Smit (South Africa), the conference heard presentations from Argentina, Australia, South Africa, Turkey and USA.

The Ministry of Food and Drug Safety of the Republic of Korea notified the World Trade Organization of the Proposed Amendments to the Standards and Specifications for Foods. Among others, the amendment establishes and revises the maximum residue levels (MRLs) for 78 pesticides, including Deltamethrin, and the MRLs for 237 unregistered pesticides, which are indicated as provisional MRLs. In addition, the "General Test Methods" are revised.
