The Agriculture and Livestock Service of Chile notified the World Trade Organization of the entry into force of the phytosanitary requirements governing the importation into Chile of walnuts from Argentina and almonds from Australia.

The U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) issued a final guidance stating that the agency does not intend to enforce requirements of the Produce Safety Rule, part of the Food Safety Modernization Act (FSMA), for farmers and producers of almonds.

INC attended the conference “Beyond trade for all: Time to promote the benefits of agri-food trade” organized by the European Liaison Committee for the Agricultural and Agri-Food Trade (CELCAA), on March 21, 2019, in Brussels, Belgium. The conference brought together speakers from the European Commission and different European associations with the aim of providing different trade views and recommendations of the EU agri-food traders’ community to the EU decision-makers.
