The study pooled data from three case-control studies (n = 785 cases, 2107 controls) in which dietary intakes were assessed using food frequency questionnaires. Participants dietary habits were analyzed and results observed that those men and women who consumed more than 6 servings per week of nuts (include all nuts and peanut butter combined) may have a lower risk for colorectal (bowel, colon and rectal) adenoma.
