Peru: Cranberry in Vitro Plants from Mexico

 The National Agrarian Health Service of Peru (SENASA) notified the World Trade Organization of the Directorial Resolution establishing the mandatory phytosanitary requirements governing the importation into Peru of cranberry in vitro plants (Vaccinium spp.) originating in and coming from Mexico.

UN Symposium, Nuts and Dried Fruit for a Sustainable Future

On June 26, 2018, INC participated in the Symposium “Nuts and Dried Fruit for a Sustainable Future” organized by the United Nations Economic Commission for Europe (UNECE) in Geneva, Switzerland. The event brought together experts form the public and private sectors, international organizations, and NGOs with the aim of discussing and reviewing different sustainable practices in the production and trade of nuts and dried fruits worldwide.

INC participated in the 65th Session of the United Nations Economic Commission for Europe (UNECE) Specialized Section on Standardization of Dry and Dried Produce, held in Genera, Switzerland, June 25-27, 2018, represented by Mr. Pino Calcagni, Vice Chairman and Chairman of the Scientific and Government Affairs Committee, and Dr. Ana Bermejo, Food Safety and Law Specialist.
