This Regulation authorizes two new substances, extends the authorized use of a previously authorized substance, and decreases the specific migration limits for a previously authorized substance on the basis of new evidence, for materials intended to be in contact with foods.
The regulation shall enter into force on June 26, 2018. However, plastic materials and articles complying with Regulation (EU) No 10/2011 as applicable before the entry into force of this Regulation, may be placed on the market until 26 June 2019 and may remain on the market until exhaustion of stocks.
