- New Strategic Roadmap – The INC adopted a refreshed Mission, a strengthened Member Value Proposition, and a new set of Strategic Goals that will shape the industry and build a clear pathway for sustainable growth, to the benefit of all members.
- Ever-Expanding Membership Benefits – INC members enjoy a comprehensive range of exclusive resources and opportunities designed to support business growth and competitiveness in the global marketplace. Key additions in 2025 were: Launch of the INC Sustainability Institute, Brand New INC Sustainability Certification, Expanded Statistical and Technical Resources, New Tariff Reports and Timeline, Enhanced INC Pavilion Offering.
Celebrating the Events That Defined the Year
- INC Congress in Mallorca – With 1,530+ industry leaders representing the sector’s biggest players, the INC Congress reaffirmed its status as the only event that brings together the entire global nut and dried fruit industry in one place.
- INC Pavilions – Gulfood Dubai and Anuga Cologne brought together dozens of companies under the umbrella of the INC Pavilion, a high-profile platform to showcase brands and forge partnerships with thousands of industry leaders worldwide.
- INC Academia – The 2024/25 edition of the INC Academia saw record growth, enrolling 71 students—2.5 times more than the previous year—while the program’s curriculum was updated to reflect the latest industry knowledge and best practices.
- INC On-site Technical Visit – The program continued to grow, bringing together 40 international participants to explore top nut and dried fruit operations across southern Portugal and Spain, gaining real-world insights and valuable industry connections.
- International Events and Country Outreach – The INC participated actively in key industry events worldwide, with INC leadership delivering presentations highlighting the sector’s priorities and sharing statistical insights.

Leading on Sustainability – 2025 saw the launch of the INC Sustainability Institute for Nuts & Dried Fruit, a landmark initiative that positions the global nut and dried fruit sector at the forefront of sustainable development and offers businesses a powerful new avenue for market differentiation.

Impactful Health Initiatives – The INC made significant progress in nutrition research through the ongoing NUTPOOL study, hosted the NUTS 2025 conference, bringing top researchers together at INC headquarters, and laid the groundwork for a multi-center, multi-continent clinical trial—all supporting the pursuit of a health claim and updates to dietary guidelines.

Increasing Consumption – The INC’s Multi-Country Dissemination Plan targeted the sector’s largest consumer group, Gen Z, in key markets including China, India, and Latin America, reaching nearly 800 million people. Efforts are now shifting to Southeast Asia, with plans to expand in MENA and Eastern Europe.

Nutfruit Recipes – A key driver of global consumption, Nutfruit Recipes reached 15 million views in 2025. The content focuses on quick, accessible recipes highlighting nuts as a main ingredient, including innovative uses such as nut flours.
