Canada’s Pest Management Regulatory Agency (PMRA) announced the adoption of the following maximum residue limits (MRL) for sulfentrazone, flupyradifurone and fluoxastrobin.
 

  • The MRL for sulfentrazone in tree nuts (crop group 14-11) at 0.15 ppm was adopted on June 1, 2017.
  • The MRL for flupyradifurone in stone fruits (Crop Subgroup 12-09) was set at 1.5 ppm on June 12, 2017.
  • The MRL for fluoxastrobin in peanuts was set at 0.02 ppm on June 12, 2017.

In addition, PMRA announced the following proposed maximum residue limits (PMRL) for simazine, isofetamid, pyroxasulfone.
 

  • The PMRL for simazine in tree nuts (crop group 14-11) is set at 0.05 ppm. The deadline for comment is July 25, 2017.
  •  The PMRL for isofetamid in dried prune plums is set at 1.5 ppm. The deadline for comment is July 25, 2017.
  • The PMRL for pyroxasulfone in peanuts is set at 0.3 ppm. The deadline for comment is July 30, 2017.
