China: General Administration of Customs Reorganization
On September 9, 2018, the State Council published the Regulations on the Allocation of Functions, Internal Bodies and Staffing of the General Administration of Customs, which outlines the General Administration of Customs of the People’s Republic of China (GACC) organization and functions, following the merge of most of the General Administration of Quality Supervision, Inspection and Quarantine (AQSIQ) and all former China Inspection and Quarantine (CIQ) offices into GACC.
