This decision is in response of the reduction of US tariffs on Turkish steel on May 17, 2019.
To recall, in August 2018, Turkey introduced two rounds of countermeasures on US origin products, implementing 10% additional tariffs on US tree nuts on August 5, 2018, and 10% extra duties on August 15, 2019.
