China Extends Pecan Anti-Dumping Investigation to March 2027

October 8, 2026

China’s Ministry of Commerce has extended its anti-dumping investigation into pecans originating in the United States and Mexico by six months, citing the complexity of the case. The investigation period will now run until March 25, 2027. The extension follows China’s imposition of provisional anti-dumping measures on US and Mexican pecans in August, after issuing a preliminary determination that imports were being dumped and causing material harm to China’s domestic industry.
