This report provides an overview of the official control activities carried out in the European Union (EU) Member States, Iceland and Norway in 2016. It summarizes the results of the analysis of 84,657 samples for 791 pesticides. It concludes that the probability of European citizens being exposed to pesticide residue levels that could lead to negative health outcomes was low.
