On November 14, Mr. Waring participated in the session "Key Panel by Industry Leaders", held right after the Opening Ceremony, where he presented a global statistical overview of the tree nut industry with a special focus on cashew production, exports, consumption and price trends. He also informed about the activities of the INC, the INC Business Integrity Committee, the Global Cashew Council and the next World Nut and Dried Fruit Congress in Sevilla, May 2018.
In addition, Mr. Waring highlighted two new clinical trials led by distinguished researchers in the United States and India that have examined the effect of cashew consumption on CVD risk and diabetes, and the results of which can be expected very soon.
