The revision of the Agricultural Chemicals Control Act (Act No 53 of 2018) and the related laws and regulations entered into force on December 1, 2018 (see previous post).
The schedule for the revisions is as follows:
- Periodic re-evaluation: 2021 (the first announcement for active ingredients to be re-evaluated will be conducted in 2019).
- Annual report for information on the safe use of registered pesticides: October 2019.
