USA: USDA Amends Federal Marketing Order for California Almonds

The U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) announced a final rule that changes multiple provisions in the administrative requirements prescribed under the Federal marketing order regulating the handling of almonds grown in California. This action amends administrative requirements regulating quality control, exempt dispositions, and interest and late charges provisions. The date of entry into force is November 1, 2023.
