EU: Organic Agriculture
The European Commission has published the following regulations:
- Commission Implementing Regulation (EU) 2020/1667 of 10 November 2020 amending Implementing Regulation (EU) 2020/977 as regards the period of application of the temporary measures in relation to controls on the production of organic products. The temporary measures provided in the Regulation 2020/977 shall apply until February 1, 2022.
- Regulation (EU) 2020/1693 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 11 November 2020 amending Regulation (EU) 2018/848 on organic production and labelling of organic products as regards its date of application and certain other dates referred to in that Regulation. This Regulation modifies the date of application of the Regulation 2018/848, which establishes a new regulatory framework for organic production.
