The Uganda National Bureau of Standards notified the World Trade Organization of the Draft Materials in contact with food – Requirements for packaging materials.This Draft Uganda Standard provides the general requirements of packaging items for food contact and their subsequent use. The text is based on the Regulation (EC) No 1935/2004 – Materials and Articles in Contact with Food and CFR 21 – Code of Federal Regulations Title 21.The final date for comments is June 10, 2017.For further information, please contact us at inc@nutfruit.org.
