The 65th International Seedless Dried Grape Producing Countries Conference was held in Upington, South Africa, from November 18-21, 2025. Topics covered included the current global supply and demand dynamics, stock levels and production estimates. Delegates from Argentina, Australia, India, Türkiye, and South Africa participated in person, while representatives from Greece, Chile, and the United States joined the conference virtually.
Mark King from Australia was elected as chairman of the conference, with David van der Merwe of South Africa serving as deputy chairman and Ece Tırkaz from Türkiye appointed as secretary.
The conference discussed current supply and demand dynamics for dried grapes, noting that the global supply of Sultanas and raisins is expected to decline by 6.8%, and exportable volumes by 3.8%, compared to last season. Overall, global dried grape supply is expected to remain sufficient to meet worldwide demand in the 2025/26 season.
