EU: MRLs Update, Draft Commission Regulations

The European Commission notified the World Trade Organization of the Annexes to Draft Commission Regulation amending Annexes II and III to Regulation (EC) No 396/2005 of the European Parliament and of the Council as regards maximum residue levels for 2-phenylphenol, bensulfuron-methyl, dimethachlor and lufenuron in or on certain products.
 

Brazil: MRLs Update

The Brazilian Health Regulatory Agency notified the World Trade Organization of the draft resolution regarding the active ingredients M48 – Metaflumizone, E24 – Spinosad, F47 – Fluazinam, C32 – Clethodim of the monograph list of active ingredients for pesticides, household cleaning products and wood preservers, published in Resolution RE n° 165 of 29 August 2003, Brazilian Official Gazette (DOU Diário Oficial da União) of 2 September 2003.
 

Australia: Peanut Seeds

The Department of Agriculture and Water Resources of Australia notified the World Trade Organization of the Emergency measures to address the risk of introduction of peanut smut (Thecaphora frezii) in peanuts from countries where peanut smut is recorded.
